At present, the development of new energy vehicles has entered the fast lane. As of June 2020, there are 270 million cars in China, of which 73.3% are private cars and 10.9% are trucks, about 29.4 million are trucks. Since 2009, China has been leading the world in the promotion of new energy vehicles. However, due to technical reasons, slow progress has been made in the replacement of electrical energy for more energy-consuming and emission-emitting freight vehicles, especially heavy trucks (one heavy truck has the emissions equivalent to 300 cars) , with domestic electric heavy trucks only gradually starting to be sold in 2019.
Currently, there are 10 million heavy trucks in China, of which one million are used for short fall scenes. The company, which entered the field in early 2017, is a firm integrator of fusion and leasing, building an ecosystem of electric heavy duty trucks and construction machinery, and taking the lead in vehicle manufacturers and core component companies such as Valin Automobile, Ningde Times and Jiuhang energy, research and development of the world's first electric heavy card and introduced to the market. By 2025, the company plans to invest a total of 115 billion yuan, promote 200,000 heavy trucks, 370,000 other types of vehicles, 4,000 new power stations and 228,000 new batteries.
2.Promoting the development of hydrogen transportation with hydrogen fuel cell and system as the core
Hydrogen fuel cell has been identified as an important technology path for the sustainable development of global energy. At the end of last year, China sold a total of 7,352 hydrogen vehicles, 127 hydrogen filling stations were built. In September 2020, five ministries and commissions jointly issued the notice on the demonstration and application of fuel cell vehicles, and relevant support policies were promulgated in various places, bringing unprecedented opportunities for the development of the hydrogen energy automobile industry.
In 2017, state power investment entered the field of hydrogen energy, building hydrogen energy and hydrogen equipment two main lines of business, especially hydrogen fuel cell equipment independent research and development and manufacturing. In December 2020, the 11 meter hydrogen passenger bus jointly developed by state power investment and China CRRC entered the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, announcing that 10 passenger buses will be put into service respectively at the 2021 Bo'ao Forum and the Jilin hydrogen transportation demonstration, put 20 buses to serve the hydrogen energy transportation in Ningbo.
State power investment is in Beijing, Hubei, Zhejiang, Jilin and other provinces and cities automobile manufacturers to carry out strategic cooperation. By the end of 2021,500 hydrogen fuel cells are expected to be rolled out.
