1. Application of conductive copper alloys (1) conductive copper alloys are commonly used in motors, collector rings and commutators of generators, motors and commutators of generators, where the conductivity is greater than 49.3 Ms/m and the tensile strength is greater than 294 n/mm2, elongation greater than 2% , hardness greater than 90HV, good contact, high wear resistance, softening temperature over working temperature. Generally choose silver copper, rare earth copper, cadmium copper, zirconium copper and chromium zirconium copper and so on. Hard copper usually begins to soften at 80 °C and above 150 °C. Rare Earth Copper, silver copper and cadmium copper are suitable for use as commutator sheets for electric motors up to 250 °C. Zirconium copper is suitable to be used as motor commutator plate under 350 °C. Cr-zr-cu is suitable for 350 ~ 500 °C high power motor commutator.

(2) used for welding electrode, electrode support, electrode arm and collecting ring electrode to conduct necessary welding current and transfer necessary welding pressure. The electrode support and electrode arm require high conductivity and strength, and the collector ring requires high conductivity and wear resistance. A wide variety of materials to be welded, which must have some specific characteristics: 

● higher electrical and thermal conductivity than welding materials;

 ● high strength, especially high temperature hardness;

 ● No alloying adhesion with welding materials; Good Oxidation Resistance, no scale formation in use.

2. For the welding of aluminum, magnesium and copper alloys, silver copper, cadmium copper, zirconium copper and diffusion-hardened copper electrodes can be used. For the welding of low carbon steel, nickel alloy and low alloy steel, zirconium copper, silver chrome copper, chromium copper, chromium cadmium copper, chromium aluminum magnesium copper and chromium zirconium copper can be selected. ● Beryllium copper, silicon copper, nickel titanium copper and chromium titanium tin copper electrode can be selected for welding of stainless steel and heat resistant alloy. Tungsten, Molybdenum, copper-tungsten Alloy, dispersion-strengthened copper and composite electrode can be used for special welding of platinum (box, strip) , gold decoration, lamp wire, etc. . For special cable, overhead wire, communication wire and contact wire, silver copper, rare earth copper, cadmium copper, chromium cadmium copper, blunt copper, composite metal conductor. When in use, the maximum allowable temperature rise should not exceed the softening temperature of the selected material, requiring high conductivity and strength. Different applications, such as cable, flexible requirements, easy to connect; for overhead wire, must be vibration, corrosion, fatigue, contact wire, must wear. Used in all kinds of electrical appliances, communication equipment and electronic tube reversing switch, spring and connector, require very high strength, hardness and elastic limit, and wear, corrosion and fatigue resistance. General use beryllium copper, titanium copper, tin phosphorus bronze and so on.
